CDSPP Emerging Leader Award
Call for Nominations 2024

The Council of Directors of School Psychology Programs (CDSPP) recognizes the importance of mentoring early career faculty to serve as training directors. To support this goal, we are proud to announce the first annual Emerging Leader Award. Individual awards will be disseminated on a competitive basis to cover the cost of registration for the midwinter meeting and awardees will be acknowledged during the business meeting.
To be eligibile for the Emerging Leader Award, the applicant must provide evidence that they:

have served for less than seven years as a faculty member

have a primary affiliation with a CDSPP member institution
-
have registered for the CDSPP meeting and will attend the business meeting (please note: if you receive the reward, you will be reimbursed for the registration cost)
Application requirements

Application letter describing your interest in serving in the role of training director and why attending the conference will support you in these efforts. Please limit your response to one page (double-spaced, 12-point font).

Please submit all materials electronically in one pdf file to Julie Herbstrith at julie.herbstrith@msstate.edu by December 18, 2023, with the subject line: CDSPP Emerging Leader Award 2024.
